My ZJ may be up for sale.

Bump for my rig. $4500 takes it, or it goes under the knife again.

My ZJ may be up for sale.

Brand new 136 amp alternator and a price drop to $5000 obo. Unreal deal for the money, as it truly needs nothing. It is daily driven about half the time and I often take 5+ hour runs to the trails and back. Need to move on. $5000 obo is a steal.

My ZJ may be up for sale.

ABS now gone, as well as rear ARB solenoid, wiring, and air lines. Spare set of 297x shafts with new ujoints and tacked caps. No ABS light, and won't pass emissions test without a tailpipe, which went to scrap. Just wheeled it all weekend up North and drove 80 mph there and back. No breakage, no...

You have chosen...poorly... Looked way better on 33s... Cut and hammer the rear and trim the front and you were set. Now...not so much...

    Busted ARB

Please!!! Rev, you know that my offroad driving is more finesse than skinny pedal. However, peer pressure got the better of me that weekend, and cost me dearly. So it goes...

    Busted ARB

FWIW...you can go to hell... Try and respond to a PM once and awhile. Obviously you found a booster seat, and can now reach the keyboard. Next issue?

    Busted ARB

Part of the game, my friend. The wyfe and I have the cabin for the weekend at the Mountain. See ya there.

    Busted ARB

I think you have a lube issue. You know me and know that I wouldn't miss something like that. ARB fully admits that the RD15 was an early, weak locker. Shock loads will kill the early C-clip ARBs. I ought to get the Detroit by Friday, and install it Saturday. Memorial Day at McCaslin, assuming I...

    Busted ARB

On a steep climb this past weekend, I slid back about 5 feet and landed on a ledge with the wheels spinning. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1073973285764297036 By the RPM in the video, you can tell that I didn't engage the locker midway, and it didn't lose pressure. I was able to drive...

    Badlands/Attica Memorial Day weekend

Prices are the same. New owners are fantastic. Park is noticably cleaner, with less scree in the rock gardens and better markings. Purgatory has many more line options, and the rest of the quarry has been cleaned up a bit. Overall, I am impressed, and I have made the trip 4 times now this year...

    cj bumers are on

Please refrain from posting dangerous, wild-azz ideas. Those bumpers are hazards, for you and everyone else. I guess I can use anything as a spare tire, as long as I get one lug through the hole?

    Loan me your spare, PLEASE!!

Cardboard, you are a jagbag, and you deserve to watch a wheel/tire/hub/shaft combo as it exits the housing and heads for the ditch. All the advice in this thread was helpful and honest in trying to help diagnose a problem. You don't want to spend $100 on a hub, but have no problem tossing money...

    A/C to OBA swap

Best Mod Evar  Blows away an ARB, Viair, etc. I can run a die grinder or impact with the 1 gallon tank if I keep the pump on and rev to 2000rpm. Along with the Clayton suspension, the air lockers, and the 8.8...this is the best thing I have done to my heep.

    A/C to OBA swap

Mostly the same as my setup. I put a 1 gal. accumulator tank from Currie behind the rear bumper. Also, I had a bracket made that allowed me to mount the Sanden compressor from an 87 YJ and mount it beside my stock A/C compressor. Still have A/C, but with a switch on the dash, the compressor...

    Loan me your spare, PLEASE!!

If the hub is shot, it would be obvious upon examination. Your method of troubleshooting is troubling...to say the least. :shhh:
