Rausch Creek Trail Ride - Nov 21st

well I'm out. Damn I was so looking forward to this. I have been pulled in every other direction working on other peoples vehicles and work, I neglected my jeep. Internal cage isnt finished yet. Skid isnt made yet. So I'm SOL wish I could have made this. Hopefully we can do another one soon?

Just a heads up .... the raffle has grown a little bit. Nothing too fancy, but certainly a handful of nice items.

Your raffle ticket is free! All you have to do is show up at the campfire on Saturday night.

Well this has turned into a nice little event , also another friend of mine is coming in a ZJ :puke:

Already loaded and packed for the most part. Just a head's up I will have some hamburgers extra for Friday night and I'm crockpotting a nice bit of hot roast beef for Saturday. Chicken noodle soup is on the agenda for trail lunch. I don't have enough to feed an army, but there should be a good bit to go around.
Rich

And of course I plan on going to Buddys Log Cabin for Sunday checkout breakfast. May the smoked sausage rain upon us all.

I was hoping to bring chili myself, but I cracked the porcelain part of my crock pot while cleaning it. :(

I'll still bring stuff for my own cider recipe though. :D

I have a few hours of basic checklist stuff to do on the rig, then depending on if the rain moves out I'll load up tonight or in the morning.

Sold my daily driver tonight so that mean I ll have to be extra cautious on the trails with my crawler since it ll be also my dd for now. Should be fun haha

Some pics ...

Thanks for the pics and videos Jordan!

It was definitely a fantastic weekend all around...couldn't have asked for a better day in the woods, and the evening festivities were enjoyed by all.

My rig performed well beyond my expectations for trail riding. Holy crap. This thing is a crawling monster and just goes over whatever you point it at. I have to make some mental adjustments because I'd start going over something difficult and suddenly realize 'oh shit, I don't know what's coming next' after it'd just grip & go. Made Trail 5 hillclimb and the double-bump in the comp course easily. And I pulled it off the trailer in the morning, and put it back on at the end of the day. Not a single thing wrong.

I'm happy :D and now I get to beat the balls off it at my first race in two weeks!
