If I'm a lemming for taking 4500 bucks of already spent government money for something I owned that wasn't worth that much then put me in line and point us towards the cliff. :laugh: I can't think of a more fitting death for my XJ then being turned into glue before it's time.

EPA still says that the mileage on the XJ sucks, so I'm covered.

I might be from the rust belt, but mine was a rust free 99 with only 107k on it. I tried offering up some parts off of it, but no one bit. :dunno: Oh, and to be honest, I didn't even realize I was in another chapters forum... I'll just get back to my own corner of the world now. :shhh:

Cleaned out the XJ tonight for it's trip to Clunker Heaven tomorrow. Wife is happy she gets a new car, I'm happy I get my car back from her and everyone wins because another XJ is off the road. :gag: Isn't socialism grand?

Complete rear wiper motor w/ arm, blade and all hardware. $60 plus the ride. Pulled out of a 99, works fine. Rear hatch lock actuator. $10 plus the ride. Steering wheel gray with cruise buttons. $75 plus the ride. I've also get a complete set of door panels and glass, not sure what year...

I was going to be buying a new car for the wife anyway and this deal falls in my lap, might as well take it. I'll end up buying something else to fill the gap that I use the XJ for, but I've been wanting to get rid of it and get a 4Runner anyway. You know, something that doesn't break down...
