Life happens!
I'll be loading up an MJ in the morning. After that, I'll check the time and go from there.
I saw your tow dolly thread - if you need one PM me and we'll rent you one.

My $.02:
This association (specifically in CO) is in a kind of rebuilding phase - participation has been down for a while (correct me if I'm wrong).
Rebuilding associations takes time - one year ago(ish) a young professionals group I am in was getting 3 people to their networking happy hours anon. This months had 20+. It takes time to rebuild a club/association, things cycle so it isn't out of the norm.
What we as a association and especially the BOD need to do is be patient and a champion for the core values of the club - we in this thread especially - know these are great events and there are many pluses to participation. We just need to get that word out; word of mouth and ESPECIALLY on social media. Mike Lopez, eflores, and a dude named Mo are doing a great job and I need to help more.
XJColorado has a HUGE member base - no reason we can't bolster our membership/participation we just need to build it.
I apologize if I'm stating the obvious, being annoying, or being "that guy" that is oblivious, I just have seen this in at least two of the associations I am currently an active member/BOD on.
I do not disagree with any of that. Last year however should have been our rebuilding year. We laid out a plan for trails run once a month for the entire year and pretty much no one ever came. I can be dropped in that bucket as well but I did attend one of them when I had a functioning rig. Out of our 6 person BOD we only had 2 participants in any of the trail runs. If our board will not even participate, what can we honestly expect from our membership? We had 1 event, the Hooligan meet 'n greet, where the entire board showed up. Which I think that was the first time that happened maybe since the last time I sat on the board.
Mike, I know life happens. I am not so much commenting on the "my plans changed" folks. Just the lack of overall participation. The only thing keeping us from going the way of the Arizona Chapter is that we still have folks willing to lead. Which honestly, other than a couple other folks here is the bulk of participation left in this chapter.
I 100% get what you are saying and have some ideas, I assume there will be time at the BOD meeting to discuss these plans/objectives?
I'm glad someone talked you into this.I 100% get what you are saying and have some ideas, I assume there will be time at the BOD meeting to discuss these plans/objectives?

I'm still bogged down with my own project. The new axles are going under the XJ today and this weekend.
Me and the boy had planned on going until I sold a truck to a friend of my wife's before I got the bugs worked out of it because the current vehicle she had broke down, so I need to fix the remaining issues on it tomorrow. Its a bummer but my only option is fix it tomorrow.
I'm glad someone talked you into this.
Thanks for the offer of a tow dolly. The new owner is bringing a trailer, and half an MJ.
You mean...NEKKID?????????????? :shocked:Cleared my schedule. I'll be there...sans seat cover.
