went into thick woods first day i had it on, rubbed it up on a tree, and mashed it through a branch that was probably 4 inches thick, it is to my suprise a lot stronger than i thought it would be, so im not worried about leaving it behind any time soon.

Works for me man. you did a good job. As long as it works for you who cares. Personally I think Arb snorkels look like ass. Besides how much did you save over buying one? I would say at least $200

yah, got all of the materials for around $75 so (if it works) it was well worth it.

I have hydro'd a motor too but I would do that to my XJ. But the good things is everyone doesnt have my taste (or yours,haha).
