I have non oppe'd my CJ5. It still has a plate on it but it is expired. The registration is no problem, the problem is having to keep it insured. Will I have a problem in Johnson Valley? Should I see about getting a Green Sticker for it? Any thoughts?

How tight should the rear shackle bolts be? Seems to me if I go too tight it will pinch the travel.

All of a sudden my 95 4.0 is turning over sluggishly first thing in the morning and the check engine light comes on. After it warms up a little everything seems fine and the light doesn't come on again. Any thoughts as to what I should look at?

My 95 just barely passed the "NO" part of the smog test yesterday. I have two years now to clean that section up. What determines "NO" is that NOS ?? whatever NOS is! Print out shows MAX 517 mine 516; and 770 and mine 767. Everything else was easily passed.

I have 30 x 9.50 tires with stock rims on my stock XJ which I keep getting told can't be. Does that make sense? Every lift company says our 3 inch lift will let you run 30's. What are they talking about? I have lots of clearance with my 30's on there, no rub even on really rough rocky trails.
