The axles were switched out before I bought the XJ, it's since had a bigger t-case put in since I've owned it. I didn't mention that in the post, sorry.

2001 Jeep XJ "Rubicon" Frankenstein 4 sale in NH

After 4 years of trying to build this truck up, I'm almost finished and I have to sell it to finance another project... If you want a shiny Jeep with big wheels and a few inches of lift so you can look cool driving around town, THIS JEEP ISN'T FOR YOU! But if you want a truck that was built...

NH - Class 3 and Forest Roads

Hi everyone, I hope I'm posting this in the right area. I've been searching Google here and there for a list of Class 3 and White Mountain Nat'l Forest Roads in New Hampshire that are acceptable for wheeling without really coming up with anything definitive. So in the interest of trying to...

4 sale: drivers' side front floor pan

I have a brand new drivers' side front floor pan for sale. Fits 1984-2001 Jeep Cherokee. Purchased from raybuck.com a few weeks ago, it turned out not to be the right solution I needed to the problem I was having. I still have the original box and packing slip. List price is $83.25 + $15...

    JCR Offroad

JCR is great! My 2001 XJ runs a gas tank skid and a rear stage 4 bumper. Everything is rock solid, great communication, and great quality. I'm probably going to order a front winch bumper from these guys in a few weeks. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

need a 4x4 shop in New Hampshire

Thanks for the offer Kastein! For the moment those are the only issues. I just now dropped it off at the shop where I'm at in Rochester NY. This guy replaced the transfer case last month after it exploded on the NYS Thruway, so I'll have him fix the 4x4 indicator light. The wiring harness for...

need a 4x4 shop in New Hampshire

Thanks for the suggestion! At the moment I'm having a problem with the rear locker wiring harness, it's melted and shorted the switch out. Also got a new transfer case installed last week and the 4x4 indicator on the dash isn't working (even though 4x4 is working fine). Then, yesterday I...

need a 4x4 shop in New Hampshire

Howdy ladies and gents! I've had my XJ for about 6 months, but was living in KY last year when I bought it. I need to have some work done on the Jeep now that I'm back in NH and I'm hoping that some folks here can suggest a good 4x4 shop to take it to. My XJ is pretty built up so the...

    Jeep Regrets

yeah but that was fun as hell! I regret running through a mud obstacle a few weeks after that without checking how deep it was first... I flooded the inside and had to cut out the interior with a utility knife :smsoap:

Finally done with stage 1. Pics

I have a 2001 Rubicon Cherokee with 2.5" of lift from an OME kit. The guy I bought it from took the axles from a 2005 TJ Rubicon and put them on here, including front and rear lockers.

overhead CB mounting - just do it

The reason I don't mount the bracket inside the headliner is because then I'd have to drill through it or cut it. It doesn't look so bad to me here but I could see where if you weren't worried about cutting or drilling through the headliner you could get a cleaner look out of it.

Class 6 Wheeling and Trailcutting: August 21st in Weare, NH

In the part of KY I'm working in, most of the Jeep people here are more into cruising then they are wheeling. And then when you find some people who are into wheeling, they mean mud-running. You can see from the pic in my avatar how well that shit worked out for me. I know the guys out east...
