SoCal Picnic in Fiesta Island

Anyone from the LA area planning on going? I'm gonna drive down Saturday morning and hang out for a few hours before I head to Del Mar to watch the ponies.

I'd like to do some light wheeling on Sunday before I head back too if anyone locals are interested and wanna show me around.

I know Peter Ford is coming down, perhaps Cal. Brendan usually does.

Is this SoCal Picnic open to anyone? Or do you have to belong to a XJ club? I do have a 94 xj and would like to travel down and see a bunch of XJ and meet some new people..I'm from Stanton,in Orange County...

I will be there but i will not bring my jeep!!!! need to do some work to it but its just too damn hot

All are welcome, even Mr Overkill (Hi, Troy!)...

Souske, if you're going to Phoenix in August, you need serious psychiatric attention!

Placergoldman, definitely head down!! It's always a good time, and there will be some non-XJ folk there as well, I'm sure!

Also:

"Feel free to drive your daily drivers, RVs, tow rigs, Tjs, whatever, if that's all you have, driving/owning an XJ is not required, it's just encouraged. You don't have to be a member of SoCalXJ.com Yahoo Group either."
