rear disc brake conversion

I totally understand and appreciate the info. I was just surprised that it was revived. I subscribed to this thread a year and a half ago..

Anywho.. Thanks for the info.. I still haven't done the conversion yet.

i should add: disregard my above posts

the caliper bodies themselves are identical, however the pads and pistons are different........at least on the crown vics
 
i was looking to do this conversion on my 97 with the 8.25. does this list look about right? and is 300+s&h a good price.

1 set of hard& rubber lines w/ dist block
1 proportioning valve for disc brakes

For used parts? No.

For new parts? Not the best.
 
i have been reading about this conversion and came across people having to use a "spacer" or retaining plate on there D44 is that needed on a 8.25 axel?
