NW Indiana wrenchfest

I'm pretty sure she knows what to expect. :)

I highly doubt it.
I am, after all, a professional.

On another note, I was in GR for a time, and was drinking Oberon when it was still called SolSun.
Good stuff.
My wife calls this my porn Jeep site, or something like that.

I'll be up to help work ... driving the car again. My son's CJ is down with tranny problems, so my XJ is out as a loaner. He is having his own "wrenchfest" Saturday here pulling a replacement tranny from a donor, and removing the one from his Jeep.

Sunday is another work day for me to finish his project. Bet I have greasy fingernails on Monday ... a Heartland Hick trademark.

Out.

Out.
My apologies to all.
I toasted a Currie TRE in the landscape boulders outside a friends shop, and my toe is in a state of flux.
Also, I want to spend a weekend with the beloved family and the even more beloved HDTV.
I will stll be in Attica the 20th.
Take care.
Scott.

just wanted to say thanks to Rev, John, Les, Sean and Brad. The bearings made a big difference. I sure appreciate the help. Maybe I'll be up to Attica on the 20th. Thanks again!

Might have a mini-version myself up in Chicago...

I HAVE to do my leaf packs ASAP...

I backed up into a curb while parking and moved the driver's side of my rear axle forward a few inches

...talk about procrastinating and creating a must-fix situation!

Hope you tards had fun...

If you can't even back up on pavement without damaging your junk, maybe you need a full time spotter too. At least you didn't run over another vehicle.

a Big thanks out to the guys who helped with my budget lift, and those who TRIED to help with my budget lift.... Hopefully before too long we'll get it finished and I wont be driving nose-to-the-sky.... and yeah, it is a bit squirly without the sway bar endlinks... I better get on those soon....

Had a blast, good to meet you Gus and Bob. Hey...did anyone re-tighten the bottom spring shackle bolt on Gus' Jeep??

BTW - Ginger made a GREAT PIE!!!

Thanks to everyone who came. I had a great time. John, the Moab DVD was great, thanks.
Grasseater has to get the, "taking one for the team" award. Who else would drive out over 2 hrs each way to deliver a tapper, only staying a half hour or so before going back, just so we could tap John's home brew.
This truly is a unique club. Guys will drive an hour or more just to help out someone they don't even know work on his Jeep.
I'm getting all teary eyed.
Group hug.
