Ok, sometime between the last Cherokee Crawl up in Harlan to last week I have bent the hell out of my t/case cross member and the Rustys t/case skid as well.
SO.....
Yeah need a replacement cross member. Any one running a home built or aftermarket piece?

My current DD is a 96 XJ 2wd 4.0 aw4. I happen to have a spare c 8.25 rear axle in the 3.07 flavor.
My thought is to replace the 3.55 with the 3.07.
This Jeep sees around 60-70 miles a day. Looking for a few more of them mpg`s.

Well, for the first time in almost six months the XJ moved out of the driveway and went for a light shake down run today. Over all I am pleased with how most things turned out. Except for a reman 4.7L P/S pump not wanting to work right, a Durango steering box mod that went completely to crap on...
