Wow. I was feeling bad about missing RoM, but it sounds like I avoided a real headache.

Bad news. I'm not going to make it this weekend. I just can't afford it right now. Take lots of pictures for me. :(

Yeah, I'm still alive. Life has just been hitting me hard and my jeep hobby is where I've backed off. Now, I've gotta get registration and inspection renewed and make sure my alternator is charging. I also really need to get my damn tire back on the rim and back on the vehicle. *sigh*

Assuming I can get my registration and inspection updated this weekend, I plan to be there with my wife, the 22 month old, and probably my daughter, as well. I definitely want to caravan, as I may have an issue with my alternator and I really don't want to get stuck in the middle of nowhere.

Yes, there is. Jeep 4.0 Dual-electric Conversion Burbon has done the upgrade on his XJ, though I can't remember if he kept it.

I went with my wife to visit her family in Ohio and we drove up to Amish country. I was singing that song the entire time we were there...she HATED me by the end of that trip. "As I walk through the Valley where I harvest my grain..."

I'm down. But this time, show up in the vehicle you SAY you're going to drive. Also, I'm always down for a wrenching party.

I'll be there, and my wife will most likely be tagging along as well. Chances are we'll be staying at a hotel this time, though, as we'll also have the 2 year old (by then) with us.

I'm officially declining my nomination as Sec/Treasurer, now.

Re: What was done to YOUR rig today? Burbon was in town, so that means I have to work on my jeep. Its the law, or something. So, we put a new motor mount on it and tightened up the Track Bar. Of course, we broke a bolt and had to do a Lowe's Dash(tm) for a replacement.

oh, I thought I seconded Magimerlins nomination for Secretary/Treasurer. So, consider him seconded. As for my nomination, I honestly only plan to accept it if no one else is willing to do the job. As Kurt said, I just don't have the time anymore to do this job as well as I think it should...

I map everyone in the RRC, members and non-members alike. I just color-code them based on status.

You need to make time for RoM this year. I realize that Gilmer is a bit boring for your "SuperJeep" but it'd be nice to see you at an event! :)
