I've had my Warn M8000 for a little over 2 years now, and it decided to die.
The only response I get when I attempt to use the control is a "click" coming from the solenoid box. All the connections (inside the box and to the winch) are good.
Thanks for any ideas.
I've been messing around with Bondo filling in a few holes and cracks on the XJ, and was wondering if there was any way to delay the "setting" time for the filler. It seems that no matter how small the amount of hardener I mix in, it's too thick to work with after only 90 or so seconds. Someone...
I have the 10" compound miter saw (DW703), and was wondering if there would be any harm in putting in a metal cutting blade for an occasional tubing chop. My saw and the DeWalt 14" chop saw (DW871) both have the 15A motor, but the no-load RPM is different: 5000 on mine vs 3800.
Thanks for any info.
While I was in Cozumel last week, I must have seen 50 or so CJ5s and 7s, along with a couple of D110's and D90's during my stay. Considering the small size of the island and the relatively low per capita income, it made me wonder: Is there some 'secret' CJ supply outlet down there?
I have Allied and I've never had a problem with them.
They mounted easily, balanced reasonabley well (even with bias TSL's) and I've haven't had any air leaking issues.
I've got a Lockright, with 33" TSL's (bias), and knock-on-wood, haven't broken anything yet. However, I do carry spare shafts. A few of my TJ-driving friends with 35's have grenaded U joints, but that's about it.
It was a freakin' balmy 70 degrees with 90% humidity this morning at around 0600 when I left for work. I'd appreciate a little cooler weather down here.... but not quite what you all are having.
My ideal climate is San Francisco, but I probably couldn't afford food or utilities after paying my...
