Well, I didn't take a good look at the clamps on my new leaf packs, I guess. They are riveted on, so I just spread them apart, straightened the sides, drilled holes, and added nuts and bolts. Good to go. Thanks for the emphatic yes, Billy. I kind of figured that welding on leaves would affect the spring steel.
