Original NES and Super NES bring back a lot of memories.

I still have the system, all the games and a Galoob Game Genie- and it all works perfectly. Think it will ever be worth any $?

On the subject, what ever happened to arcades. I miss arcades and feel sorry that its not a past time for todays children now people stay at home and play these advanced games. Do you remember Super Street Figher?

if you video card is a year old there's no way you are running 1600x1200 with 8x antialiasing and over 20 fps. my home machine is a 2.8 w/ 2G RAM, 10000RPM SATA drives and a Saphire 9600XT and I can run Quake4 or Fear with hardly anything turned on @ 800x600.

I work at Best Buy and I walked in the door at 8:58, we open at 9. There were already 80 people in line in the store. We had 60 of the things in stock, only 10 were the non-Hard drive model. We sold out in half an hour. We had people calling in all day asking about them. The crazy thing is, we're not getting anymore in until sometime next month. Absolute craziness. I enjoy my "old school" XBox, with its mod and capability to play free burned games, DVDs w/o spending $30 on a remote, etc. Eventually I may add a hard drive to mine and save games or movies directly to the hard drive and have everything the 360 does, minus the better graphics for much less money. I have a friend who's added a DVD burner in place of the original drive so that he can burn movies, games, music, whatever off his hard drive.
