The gear inside my steering column is stripped so whenever i try to start my jeep the ignition just moves but does not move the rod to move the position on the ignition switch. I tried moving it back and it was working perfectly, but then of course once i get it all back together it moves out of place again, So I think I'll just put a new steering column in.
