Things that I LOVE about stock XJ's

I used to work for AMC in the 80's,
Worked and prepped with pride I did,
Dreamed and promised I did,
One day I too will Ride an Xj,

Dream came true a decade later, then I married,
She loved me, but she loved my jeep more,
She took the jeep, and left me with with a heap,

My Wife loves it so much,
she would bares her teeth if you try to drive it,
She never misplaced her keys, so no one had a chance to drive it,

Wife loved it so much,
Then I had enough,
I wanted my own,

But my She thereatened to pass on her old jeep,
so that she can ride in the new jeep,

So I bought 2,
one for her and one for me,
Mine is Blue and Her's is green,

Now we both love our Xj's
and we never have to share them.

Best thing, and its been said by others ad nauseum is easy to find new and used parts.

My last rig was an FJ 55. Took me weekes of hunting around to find each part. Body parts were made of unobtainium or sumthin.

Yes, my youngest son drives a bone stock 99 in great condition. He loves it.

I see them all over down here rust free, but they are all going for $5000.00 and up.
