shifter handle?

I have no idea if it's a manual or automatic so it seems I'm probably going further off topic with this post but ZJ handles are a MAJOR PITA to get on the XJ shifter assemblys. I've never gotten one on succesfully without breaking some of the teeth off the inside of the handle.

Maybe the ZJ shift shaft is a slightly smaller diameter than the XJ shaft?

I'm not sure if thats partially it or not, but the ZJ shifter also doesn't have the cut outs on either side for the tabs to align it like the XJ one does. So I think without those it's a little bit of the theory of a round peg in a square hole.

I believe you can yes, although I haven't messed with it in a while that's what I recall.
