Nasty oil leak at the filter adapter

it seems like everybody has a different bolt, nut, hex size on their jeep whats up with this? another sick joke by jeep?i have a 93 with a 4.0 HO and it deiently needs a hex not a torx. does anyone know the size as i will have to special order anything above a 3/8 as i can find no one in the portland area that has any bigger.

I bought a 14mm hex socket in 1/2" drive. Put it in a vise. Hammered it out of the socket and used a ratcheting wrench. I have a 93' HO.

Good to know, I still have an intermittent leak there, but considering I barely drive the Jeep I haven't been too concerned.

How do I fix it?

You just replace the sensor itself. Try and stay away from duralast, thats the brand i used because i was in a pinch when i broke one off. Turns out its not durable nor lasting.
