Hey Capt. Nemo, do you have any more updated pics of your cage?

Looks the same, except I've anchored it to the frame. I decided that I'd gone crazy enough with the tubing :) .

I'm really looking forward to Phil's Rubi Run! What I have going on:

-Synthetic winch line
-a couple of rock lights
-interrior clean-up :)
-gas tank skid
-new rear bumper if time permits

A lot of simple projects for me:

Done: Install Atlas and change out clutch slave cylinder.
Done: Build new URF three link to work with new T-case.
Done: Build tool drawers and frame for cargo area.
In Progress: Build seat support and cage tie-in for the little guy.
Not gonna get done: Re-wire Renix system, eliminating excess wiring.
Not gonna get done: Install York compressor.

Added:

Cut out "A" pillar of cage, run new pillar through firewall, add a lower connection from B to A pillar.

Change heater core.

Yeah, just a bunch of small things.

Let's see....I got

Finish the WJ knuckle install and fix steering.
New bushings for leaf springs.
Fix OBA comressor mount and quiet that loud ass thing down a little.
Paint.
Align doors.
Find a new apartment to live in and move.

All this by Phils Rubicon run.....:laugh2:

Probably not going to do because it's way down on my priority list:
- make my junk look nice
What are you going to do, paint it pink ? :)

What manufacturer of spare shafts are you getting ?

I couldn't take Crash calling my ass fat any longer. So a little cutting was in order.

The back will be cut about on the middle of the gas fill

A little new tube work, couple links and some shocks with these little red
coils around them and it should be good to go.

Ever start one of those projects you thought you could bust right out ?
Two mounths later I'm still a mounth out. Need to redo fuel, brake and battery lines. Plus all the little stuff that really takes time. It needs to be ready for a run in June and I have no free weekends left. Have made some headway.

I wanna laugh, but considering how many 'why'd ya put 9's under your yota' type questions I got at the Bender Jambo :(

Whatever you want to call it, I think Dave's raised the ante a bit.

His SUV gained a bunch of S, and lost a whole bunch of U. Thankfully, it still loosely be classified as a V.

Well the ol' XJ is getting a new steering box and frame reinforcements until I can do some tube work. Already got the new tires on. Got a HP44 all ready to go, unless FarmerMatt DESTROYS it on BOTW! Need to build a rear end to match up the front. Hopefully a LP 9" for the cheap factor. The XJ wont be making very many runs this summer. Going to need alot of work to get back to trail readiness.

The "other" jeep gets some work before phils rubicon run.
started the full flat belly skid, need to get a new rear CV Driveshaft, build new steering, make diff guards, build rear bumper/tire carrier, build cage, and install lift kit.

The LJ should be darn close to being that far by the con'.

Any got a lead on a used LP 9" with gears and a locker?!
