I have a son who's over 6 feet and a stepson at about 6 even, and they both fit in their Cherokees. My stepson says he prefers the 2-door because the side visibility is better. It may depend on the transmission, too. My stepson drives an automatic, and I've noticed that people tend to sit further back when they drive a slushbox. I take all this second-hand, since I'm 5-8 and fit in my Cherokee with room to spare.
