Better Illumination -- with LEDs

Not to thread hijack... but the the H3 Fog Light LED replacements I couldn't get to work at all. Even by trying to hot-wire them to a direct 12v source to no avail. I'm wondering if they were defective....

If you hooked them directly to a known-good 12V source (and you're sure the polarity was correct), then you have to assume they were defective. Still, that's surprising. Especially for two of them. I'd have sent them back too!
