well i finally made it to a run. after being plagued by issues all summer long, from leaking radiator to granaded pinion yoke, i finally got 'er to the woods. i have seen better snow up south fork way earlier in the season than what we had for this run. still, at least for me it made for a good shake down kinda deal. everything held up, stayed running cool, no new vibes on the way home (were none to begin with) seems everything did just fine. only issue i had on the way out that morning was the steering was a tad odd, meaning the rutts in the road would toss me around like a pinball. found out wile airing down all tires were at 20psi eccept for the right front wich was at someware around 40. oops!
somehow i managed to arrive at 9:00am on the dot. there were only a few there when i pulled in.
by the time we departed a hole bunch more had arrived.
including a subaru.
after airing down at a random lake (williams i think) we went to play at the top of south fork mt. it didnt take long for Ken to get antzy and start humping rocks.
i have this pic on a clear day, decided i wanted it on a foggy day too.
watch your step, loooooong way down.
