And now sad news........ family interest is low(except me), so I put it on local C'list and here in FOR SALE forum. I'll try finding clips tho, don't want it looking bad you know.
:bawl:
Have a Wagoneer Limited for sale. Bought this year as a fun project working with kids/grandkids. It was fun, but I'm only one with interest in it now, and no room. SO:
have it on Craigslist for $2k, but let me know your interested.
89 Waggy, 249ish miles, Power seats and windows(RF...
I really only need 20 the plastic prongs that hold the trim onto the body panel. Any ideas where I can buy new or used ones? I tried many j'yards in NC/SC for donor cars.
Thanks
I have the trim, but not many of the plastic prongs that hold it into the panel. Any suggestions where I can buy new or used ones(check many junkyards in NC).
Thanks
Hi,
I have the trim for my 89 Waggy, but many of the plastic prong clips that hold it in place are broke. Anyone suggest a site(other than Quadratec, Mopar/Chrysler Parts) I can buy 20-30? Can't glue them back on.
Or does anyone have spares I can buy? If needed, I will take pix to send for...
Can't seem to find a decent headliner cardboard for my 89 XJ Wagoneer. I see some 95, 97, 2000s occasionally. But will these later years work without much cutting? Near Charlotte.
Might as well ask here: does anyone have one to sell??:eyes:
Tom
It's hard finding a strong one for my 89 XJ Wagoneer. Will later years XJs work? If so, which years, and do you have a good one near Charlotte, NC?:patriot:
Thanks for the comments all. I'll try another one from junkyard. I thought I cleaned/removed enough old material from the old fiberglass board and use different adhesive, and load it up. Wires are in place for lights, and insulation is too. Back to the yard....... one more try.
I'm focused now...
Rebuilding an 1989 XJ Wagoneer, and frustrated w/replacing headliner. The cardboard ones I tried from donors in junkyard, but even with extra adhesive they still fall down. Is the fact I'm using old, non rigid Any ideas? headliner the culprit? Haven't been able to find a brand new headliner board.
Mind you, I'm a red head.....
I know the feeling---- I used to have red hair, but after 66 years; it's mostly gone and turned white.
Bring your sunscreen and broad hat. I know a great skin doctor in Charlotte, and I use Rodan&Fields skin products. They work.:roflmao:
I came from Chicago...
THX.
I'll put them on the list for contact. I'm in middle of pulling my interior and carpet out of my 89 Wagoneer. Awful hot even in the garage!!!!!!!!!
Jilly,
My 2 cents--
Ive been to Portland, Willamette and Gorge. Our closest comparables would be:Gorge- Lake Lure, NC-southern Appalachia. This is area where movie Last of Mohicans was filmed. NC/SC coasts are beautiful in own right; but temperature and humidity is 20% higher...
