yup took it apart tonight and found it an ear broke off. The sleeve that the oil pump and dist shaft fit into is kinda tore up the new pump and dist will fit fine but will that wear be an issue do i need t oget a new one off a junk block and press it in????

It's not that easy to get better milage if it where everyone would do it. This is a terrible idea all it will do is restrict your engine make it run like crap and make your milage worse. Without even getting technical or explaing why just accept that answer...:dunce:
Well take out the rear shaft put a plastic bag over the t case output and put a rubber band around it and drive to school in 4wd. Also a sye and driveshaft is noy 1200 it's alot but less than half.

Get em I have had them for 2 years and hit trees with them scratched but not cracked they hold on just fine you cant expect them to be rock sliders thats all. You have to put into perspective what some people and doing with there jeeps hell you rub aginst a tree hard enought youll rip anything off.
