what other outdoors hobbies do you have

That's goatfest weekend

Crap! Well I guess that wont work. We will just need to look at a different date.

i like to go mountain biking. i've been doing it off an on for a few years now on the Fullerton Loop with my friends. havent been able to do it lately because its just so hot and im pretty lazy lol. i've been wanting to do a night ride but none of my friends will do it with me....

Smoking and Grilling is my favorite outdoor hobby.

I shoot trap and skeet, reload my own ammo (shotgun) all 4 gauges.
I also like craft beer, but I do not mix those hobbies :=)

I get out of the city as often as I can and go hunting and camping. Turkey hunting is my passion, but I rarely miss opening day of dove seaon. With the doves, its more of a social event, hanging with the same group of guys every year, shooting and drinking heavily . . . after the shooting, of course. I haven't been pig or duck hunting in several years, but used to enjoy those too and really should start up again.

Gold panning is something we did back when I was a youngster hella fun I totally forgot about that and had no idea you did that Anthony we might have to set something up

For sure. Let me know!

I mountain bike more than anything. I like hiking, especially when my 18 month old son is in the hiker we have. I used to do a lot of road biking, but since I moved to the High Desert that has been way less appealing since the roads and drivers all suck. I do some rock climbing and some trail running but not as much as I would like. I would like to have people to go wheeling with at least every other weekend, but so far it hasn't been quite that frequent.

I don't remember seeing any threads on this so here it goes.

What other outdoors type hobbies do you have?
After a number of years doing adopt a trail and volenteering in the forest I'm starting to feel a little burnt out. So I decided its time to change things up and while I love the forest maybe I can learn new ways to enjoy it too.
I'm getting in to horsmanship I got my first horse recently and after my ex and current gf having horses and living in Norco aka horse town usa I'm kinda excited to have one of my own. Punkin is a 15 year old draft/quarter horse cross. Aproximatly 16 hands tall and 1200# and so far other than having the family resemblance (being fat) she is healthy and well manered. Her first apointment with a trainer is today where I hope to learn more about what she already knows how to do.
I'm also looking at the rc world. Thinking of skipping the electrics and going for nitro powered. I've been seeing a lot of "deals" on the savage trucks and I may grab up a used one just to see how I like it.

Anyways what do you guys have going on?

dont get a nitro... ive had bout 20 of em .. and i will never go back after brushless.. nitro is a world of head ache .. .. ive had team assoicated.. team loki .. RCi. .. brushless is where its at.. i hate when u run out of gas and the nitro goes full throttle for a couple secs and u cant do anything about it.. if u gotta lot of time and money to spend then try nitro but i hate em

i like tuna fishing.. shooting .. spear fishing for lobster.. drag racing .. drinking good beer.. eating good food

I BADLY want to get into hog hunting. My cousin (hardcore redneck) is a professional hog hunter in Texas. He is contracted by like a dozen golf courses to go in at night and kill any hogs that are on the grounds. It looks like a blast. I guess there's still a little redneck left in me as well. He even has a 50 cal he uses on occassion to create serious pig carnage.

Riding Motorcycles (street ), Quads (desert), fishing fresh and salt water, shooting, boating (river), surfing and of course wheeling. I think I have a hobby for all seasons:laugh3:

I like to mountain bike but pretty much just the Fullerton Loop. I've been itching to hit up Whittier Hills and Chino but havent had anyone to show me the trails.
