got a newer XJ

i recently bought a 98 cherokee, to upgrade from my 89. I was think 3 inch maybe 4;.5 inch lift, just to get it started and keep it reasonable. my old jeep had a like 7 or 8 inch Rubicon express lift, i was happy with it but was wondering if for a smaller lift id be ok going with a cheaper one. I want to clear 31s with the swaybar off, any ideas
By the way my 89 is still for sale

Umm, for 31's, you'd probably want a 3.5" lift to clear them with minimal rubbing. If you find some stock rubicon wheels and tires you'd have a very nice look.
