Questions for the streeters

To all of you that run 17" or 18" wheels...what size tires do you use? In the past I ran a 265/60/18 on an 18X8 on a '98 XJ. I am looking at several different wheel options right now. My jeep is not really used off road at all. It carries bikes and kayaks, and tows a boat, and is my daily driver. I am thinking about 16x8 or 17x8/8.5 with an appropriately sized tire (Bridgestone Dueler HTS or Michelin Cross Terrain/LTX , etc.) I was thinking a 275/60/17 on the 17x8.5s... anything thoughts, suggestions, or pictures.... thanks.

Wide tires look macho but they also increase rolling resistance. If I can get my hands on a set of 17" wheels, I'd go for 225/60R17 or 235/60R17 tires.

I am running 17's with 255/60/17 Toyo Proxes S/T

Not diggin the step bars or the pedestrian deflector, but the rig looks cool for a street ride.
