we are installing the lift on my 89 XJ. i bought it used and the guy forgot to give me the centerpins. so my question is what are they used for? its a 3in Rough Country lift with 2in aal and 1in blocks. Where can i get them or what can i use instead of them? thx

Are you talking about theleaf spring center pins?I think you are.Anyway it serves a dual purpose by locating the leaf to the axle and also holds/centers the spring pack.You can get them for about 2.50 at any lift supplier.

NAPA also has them. I've bought them for less than $1 each.

Any spring shop carries them. Just look in the phone book for a spring shop, it's good to know about one anyway, I'm over there all the time while messing with suspension stuff.

Socket head / Allen head bolts will also work - just take an old one with ya to get the correct diameter down at yer local hardware store.
