Tips for top end?

The same cost as an entry level stroker, or 2.5 times the cost of an iron head that will build far more power :)

Didn't know it was gone, but yes... the price was always ridiculous!

Its "out of stock" with "no re-stock date in site" according to their website

A Russ Pottenger 7120 head outflows hesco though and is half the price :)

Interesting, is that the one you are running on the Team NAXJA truck?

The ATK Baja stroker is, what, 3800 bucks and gets you 80 more horsepower?
I'd never thought of mods in $$ per HP but it's kind of alarming when you do.
6.0 swap is probably the best bargain to be had, if you can get it past smog.

Chevy LQ4 was what I was thinking. I've done an LS swap in a non emissions controlled vehicle but am a bit intimidated by CARB's rules for swaps in a 98. Anyway, I should probably stop my attempt at thread-jacking.

For the money is no object crowd a hesco aluminum head is good for some 20 hp

No way you will get that with just bolting on the head. Compression must be raised and some PCM reprogramming to begin with.

Also, good luck getting a Hesco Al head.
