Stupid stock radio speaker question.....

Saturday Update.....

Well,
As I was working on the rear speakers, when I disconnected them, the front clears up. It appears that the rear speakers are wired wrong back to the radio. I will have to trace them back, as it appears, someone has rewired the speakers.

I think I will trace them with a meter and see what's up. Right now I have them disconnected at the speakers, and the front works much better. But the Pioneer speakers still suck. I guess it is typical for 5.25" speakers........

Thanks for all the input...

glad you're happy.

A change in polarity won't cause your deisplay to flicker or your volume to drop. Basically, if two speakers are out of phase, the cones will be moving in opposite directions. you might want to read some beginner audio books.

Considering how it easy it is, try running another ground wire to the radio.
