Why didn't you just move the vent hole in stead of working around it?

How would they seal it back up? It's metal, you'd need some sort of device that is capable of fusing metal together in order to close up that hole.

Glad you didn't go for the cardboard truss. I wouldn't make a truss out of something cardboard, and also no cardboard derivatives.

Lets see, broke a brake line(Rear metal). Pulled front long tube out of diff, AGAIN.Yea i think i can make it for a day run..All in all great day, for all of 30 mins today.
I won't be doing any part of cakewalk this trip thats for sure, need to truss the axle first i guess.I notice the little mall guys do it so i guess it helps with speed bumps.
