No more hood prop

I thought Go-Jeep had a fairly in depth write up about doing it yourself for cheap, but I couldnt find it on his site.

I used to have trouble with my hood being to hot, but after I installed some hood spacers, I havent had much trouble with it.

That is the only write up I have ever had. I put those up 7 years ago now and have used it for the last 10 years without problem.

I thought ZJs had those weird coiled spring things at the back, not hydraulics.

not sure about ZJ's but WJ's have a strut

yeah, but he is right that you (almost) never have to repalce a prop rod.

haha nice! i actually started that thread on JF. i love mine. I did have to take the stupid looking REDLINE TUNING! sticker off though

I put mine on today--sweet! Do, though, remember to take your original prop down PRIOR to installing the passenger-side lift, or you will be removing and reinstalling the lift--DOH!
