Need a DD jeep very soon

This could be a good snag.

Fully loaded Laredo, HO. Been up for a couple weeks. Could probably talk him down to $1,250 or less to get it gone. Very straight body, good Candidate for a $500 Maaco paint job. Probably be into the whole thing for under $2k.

See work order from mechanic - needs new accumulator, pump, master cylinder. Be aware - new accumulator & pump are hard to find used & expensive new. I've seen some guys online that have retrofitted to a different year system. If you can fix this problem, it should be ready to go.
BENDIX 9 ABS! I'll be taking that crap off my 2-door in the near future.

On the plus side, there is no chance of the front axle having CAD, and a very strong likelihood of having the NP 242 transfer case.

Can you screen shot it if it is still in your cache? It's been deleted.

Too late, it was a deep oem green 96 in perfect shape, and everything worked. Dad selling his sons Jeep who had moved and bought a new car.

High miles, but I still want to look under the back: https://denver.craigslist.org/cto/5957551024.html

Might be worth a look: https://denver.craigslist.org/cto/5950800999.html

Maybe, but stickers and owner modifications tend to be a red flag for me: https://denver.craigslist.org/cto/5980951724.html

Another with NP 242... Did I mention I like Full Time 4WD for driving around town when the roads are bad? https://denver.craigslist.org/cto/5973879712.html

I don't recall any preference for an auto or manual transmission.

This will probably be snatched up in a hot second.

This one looks interesting

Too many $$$$s and issues with this one.

One of those you posted is gone, one has real rust issues (not interested), and I want to stick to 87-96 years only.

Found a perfect 2002 Saturn SL2 (like one she had for 8 years) in perfect shape, half the miles for half what these jeeps are and she passed on it today :(

If the SL2 was here I would have bought already for me. They are like jeeps, even better, last forever. Got 279,000 miles on the 2001 already

Oh, and want the AW4 transmission only.

The ad on this one

https://denver.craigslist.org/cto/5950800999.html

is 26 days old, so it is sold, or it has a serious issues the poster is hiding that buyers saw on inspection I would think?

I think in general a WJ is always going to be the better buy strictly for a dd. But with their price point thy are going to be hard pressed to find one worth picking up.

Old acquaintance is selling his lady's wj. 99. 190k fresh brakes. needs a cv. its the crap 249 or whatever (awd unit) and has some paint fade. its right at your 2k mark.

249 is a great winter case, if it's been taken care of - if it's a 4.7, that is a great price.

FWIW, hes on the front range (denver area) and i havent seen this rig before. He just mentioned he was selling and it seemed to fit your needs. He was willing to come down on his asking to be where your range is, but i dont know how much more movable he is. Hes a cool guy (I used to ride for his clothing company) and pretty straight forward.
