Movin to Oregon soon, got a couple questions

Hey so I'll likely be moving to Eugene, Oregon in a year or so for Graduate school and I'll need some new tires between then and now, I was wondering weather the terrain favored a 33x10.5 or a 33x12.5 or if I should bite the bullet on some 35x12.5s? thanks!

Alot is also dependent on what you like to do. More surface area for traction is always good. Especially with Oregon's wet weather and snow. I would say go for a wider tire imo, but maybe rig specs could help us in giving you a clearer opinion...
