Here's what I'm dealing with.
Driver's side:
Passenger side:
The spring on the passenger side is starting to rub on the quick disco. The spring was always a little forward and when I switched to adjustable short arms on my drop brackets I was not able to fix the problem. I don't have an angle finder bracket so I can't check the perches that way. Is it likely that the axle is twisted or can the spring mount on the body be twisted? The spring on the passenger side also likes to pop out of its grove and sit on top of the cutout that is supposed to keep the spring from rotating.
If the axle tube is twisted is there any easy fix to the problem other than either swapping a new axle or buying a new bracket set from Clayton and install them while the axle is still under the jeep?
