Was it gelled up partially? Change out your fuel filer and put some treatment through it if you can get it started. Sounds like a cold weather related problem. Diesel engines are a simple beast, either it is getting fuel or not, and then run it down from there.
 
what wires are in that bundle that runs down the passenger side of the tunnel in a late model?

Turn signals? Rear defrost?

Turn signals in the beater are popping fuses and I suspect it's in the harness from the front to the rear.

i thought they ran down the drivers and passenger sides in a loom, but i actually don't remember now if they start up at the fuse panel or if they go down the tunnel and then split from there...

John Fox supposedly comes to agreement to coach the Bears. Hopefully he will figure out how to win playoff games...

I didn't pull the sills up.

I ran a screw through that loom putting the dust boot back on, so I figured that's why the signals quit.

I'll have to have a peek at it and track down the signal short this weekend.
Turn signals are the only thing keeping me from being comfortabel daily driving this pile. It's loud, and the exhaust is banging against something, but it drives alright and the 4wd works like a champ.
Then it's time to roll the MJ into the garage and take it apart.

Best part is I drank half of it. It was great meeting everyone. Dans a wealth of knowledge with a huge parts bin and a warm garage. Even though we didn't get a definite answer on the mystery of the missing antifreeze the heep has never run better with the new plugs and I learned alot about midget animal porn and top notch blow. Thanks Dan.:party:

With a few seasons and picking up a few players, they might be a real threat to the NFC North. And get rid of Cutler....
