Important

CV joints at the pinion on ZJs are dumb. Almost as bad as a broken pinion And CV drive shaft on a ZJ that was driven on the highway and told to fix as cheaply as possible. OK 2wd ZJ it is...

Almost finished seats/tables.

So the old ford sat for two days in this dressing cold. Would start yesterday morning so I drove the baby jeep to work. When I came home it started fine. So I let it idle for a while. Went to start it This morning and it fired up fine. Let it idle for about half hour and when I went to leave I put it in gear and nothing. No forward no reverse, NOTHING! I just got it pushed into the garage to Warm it up and see if that does anything. Any ideas?

It'll be fine, checked it out some more. Needs all new lug studs on front axle, 2 rims, 1 tire, pinion bearings, axle CVs, front drive shaft, rear u-joints, rear brakes, tune-up, jack radiator cap up and slide new jeep under. Nothing like spending a grand on a 1500$ jeep, lucky it has a great running 4.0/auto or it would be on its way to being a new Kia tomorrow.

Probably not much help, but when the trans went out on my old E350, it was also extremely cold.

If you could push it in the garage, why wasn't it in there already?

mac 'wish my rv would fit in the garage' gyvr
