I am in the process of making these mounts also, hey pornstar is that triangular cut out in the bracket to go around the steering box bolts? Looks like a heavy duty set up. Do you really need to go with 1/2" plate for that? I was going to use 1/4" for it but if the general concensus is 1/2" I'll buy that. Anyone?

I have a suggestion for your cad design. Install triangular gussets between the bolts that hold the d-rings. Two on each side. That will greatly improve lateral stability if you tug on the d-rings from the side of the vehicle and prevent the frame mounts from buckling sideways. Also, I think if you include an integral steering box brace, it will make it far more marketable. Nice design BTW.

I like both ideas. Time has been extremely limited lately, but as soon as I get an oppurtunity to work on this design more, I will consider adding these features.
