Got a new Job...

Actually, being lazy got me my current job. At the end of the technical interview, I was asked what would make me a good employee. "Basically, I'm a lazy man. If I do my job right, I get to a point where I can surf the Net and drink coffee all day." He got up, ran around the table and shook my hand. I found out later that he went back to the hiring manager and said hire me before I get away.

Of course, having 20 years experience in the hardware environment helped a lot.

Unions are huge here in Alaska, they get paid a ton and great benifits.. I was in the Laborers for 4 months.. the 4 months before the 08 presidental race.. I have never had so much political bullshit force-fed to me in my life. I ended up getting laid off on x-mas eve and said XXXX this place, I'm not getting back on the list.
