If I were you I would add some fish plates between my frame rail and front stiffeners. The way they are in the picture puts a lot of stress on the seam between the two.

So adding the front rails and the frame rail kit along with a cage from T&J should take
care of any frame flex.

I found that the Mini Wheats wernt enough. If you notice, I used blue painters tape to reinforce where I had to cut, and it seems to hold up well. I cant tell if I am still getting frame flex or not, but I assume they are helping.

One thing you have to be careful about, is driving on wet pavement and mud. Water and mud seem to cause the cardboard to break down over time. Sometime within the next year, I think Im going to have to redo them, and might try the Wheaties like dgrigorenko suggested.
