Has anyone seen/used this blower before?

actually seems like the best, well thought out S/C I've ever seen for a 4.0. I like how they give you a new manifold solving a lot of packaging problems. Air acts different traveling under pressure than it does being sucked along by a vacuum (actually in both cases it's being pushed by pressure...

need YOUR opinion on exhaust set up... Trail mishap

I just replaced the exhaust on my 99 XJ and while yes the pipes are bent the same (with the exception of the front pipe, a Renix front pipe won't clear the bell housing on a 97+ engine, tried that, didn't work.) they are smaller. I got one from the parts store on accident and the tail pipe...

    tires constantly leaking

This. ^ I'm going to bet your section width and rim width are close to the same. I only every have this problem on the woman's XJ, stock Canyon rims with 31x10.5 BFG M/T's and after every trip I'm breaking down a rim or two and cleaning the bead out. I run 12.5's on 8" rims and have only ever...

    Push button transmition

just my $0.02, as a sports car guy, I hate paddle shift. That's not shifting. thats telling an auto what gear to be in. I know twin disc gears blah blah blah but if it doesn't have the man pedal and an honest to goodness shifter between the seats it's not worth driving IMHO Okay rant over :D

    All around good tire suggestions

They are rated for severe snow service. and untill the KM2's (I don't believe they're rated but they are given higher/equal marks in all catagories) they are they only tire I'd put on the Female's XJ for her and the kid. Also from personal experiance in northern Ohio, they are amazing in the...

    All around good tire suggestions

Personally I love the BFG All-Terrains, all around can't beat them. Have original Mud Terrains on my XJ now, was going to replace them with the A/T's this month but after some reading the new KM2's seem like an all around better tire so I'm gonna give them a whirl.

    Fix and Flip Jeep question

Hell, I'd grab it. offer them 1000 for it. Thats how I got mine, blown head gasket sitting in a field. worst case you put a motor in it around here I can get them off of CL for 3-500 all day long. say you have 1500 into it you could easily double that from what I've seen.

    Anyone here run baja claws?

I had them on my S-10 Blazer (Solid axle swap, 33's :D ) They're great for mud, and wet stuff, as long as your going straight. I was really uncomfortable on off camber situations with them, especially if it was a little wet. There is nothing keeping them from sliding sideways. On the road...

Best method to set a perfect wheelbase?

I tape a string to the rear center of the tire, pull it across the rear tire centered horizontally, till it just touches the front part of the tire and stretch it to the front tire it should touch front and rear sidewalk of the front tire, and the rear tire at the same time if the wheels are...

Is there supposed to be a ground on my 91's gas tank?

I doubt it, everything is originally covered in rubber, the straps usually have rubber over them, also the top is normally lined with something. all to keep the tank from squeaking.

    Rolled my Jeep.

Wow, glad everyones okay, looks like it could have been a lot worse! So basically since you were in an accident you have no rights to the vehicle? That's some BS. Yet another reason I'm glad I don't live in Cali.

How do I get the bushing into the leaf spring??

Throw the bushings in the freezer over night. They usually drop right in for me, if not a small tap with a hammer will do it.

WTB 4.10 front axle, Got burned on CL.

Okay, I got burned on a front I purchased. Now I'm STILL in the market for a 4.10 front axle if anyone has one they'd like to part with. I've got the 8.8 and everything else here waiting to go in, pulled the cover to change fluid and counted the teeth to be sure and it's a 3.55... So, back to...
