PICTURES of Ouray, CO area, Sept 2010

A local buddy and his TJ Rubicon went with. We wanted to keep a small group, but definitely can't go alone. Would have been happy to have a few others tag along to enjoy the scenery and fun. Probably going again next year, not sure where though.

    gun review for concealed carry

Not trying to start a brand vs brand arguement, but of all of the striker fire pistols, the Ruger felt best in my hand. I have shot many other striker fire pistols, Glock, XD, XDM, etc, etc. Reliability and operation is virtually all the same, near as I can tell....they all will shoot a bullet...

    gun review for concealed carry

I love the SR9! I thought I wanted a .40, so I tried sought hand comfort as the starting point. The XD, XDM and were the nicest in my hand. The XD was more comfortable than the XDM, but I was all over the target with both. So I tried the XD & XDM 9mm, and better grouping, but still shaky...

    gun review for concealed carry

Ok, I'll throw my .02 cents in! I have a Ruger SR9 full size, and am about to get the SR9C for personal carry. Yeah, I know it is a 9mm, not a .40, but it will work great for me. I also keep a Colt Python 4" for the house. ...one shot, one kill.
