I need some help in figuring out the fuse panel layout - what they do for my 98XJ??? anyone have a owners manual thay can scan / or a link / image of one... need it ASAP... winter is frigging coming....
need help ASAP 98 jeep won't start - starter just clicks, ok here goes - I try and start the TJ today no luck - put the key in and go to turn it over nada just rapid clicking - I t figure the starter is goofed up - I replace it - same thing - starter relay swapped - same thing...

ok I have 2 questions and I am a r_tard obviously as I am totally confused from the Chiltons manual
1) are these the bolts I remove to disconnect the drive shafts?
2) how do I disconnect these linkages so I can remove the tranny.
ok I have a question for the Guru's as I am in a quandary:
I have a 96 4.0l automatic transmission (floor mounted shift)- bell housing is cracked need a new one...
what yrs are compatable - direct bolt pattern/up?
arrrrgh while attempting to remove my motor one of the Torx bolt heads on the top of the bell housing stripped. The extractor didn't work either... so what was left of the head was ground off. I went under the jeep and found the bell housing is cracked through the starter a long vertical crack...
ok, I have one bolt left to remove and I can't get at - question:
can or should I lower the engine (via hoist) approx 4"-6" with the tranny on a jack to gain access to the Torx bolt for both removal and installation?
ok, I am almost ready to remove the 4.0l engine out of my 96 cherokee, where do I attach the lifting chain?
replacement 4.0l, do I use the 2 bolts at either end of the engine that face upwards?
ok, dumb question - can a rookie do an engine swap on a 96 Jeep XJ 4.0l without too much trouble... it's a matter of pulling apart and putting back together...:scared:

ok, newb here... I have a new power steering pump and pulley... my question's are these:
(1) do I mount the power steering pump before mounting the pulley as the new one does not have any holes? New pulley on left old one on the right with the shaft stuck in it.
(2) is the bolt and nut used...
well on my way home today I heard some interesting and disturbing sounds coming from under the hood... then smoke - actually steam from coolant... I open the hood... power steering fluid every where... the pulley is lop sided and loose bits of metal on the engine block... wholly crap! 30 minutes...
