I have the same problem, except mine got slowly worse and then on both sides. It ended up being the sway bar bushings were just worn out. Give that a look see. Hope that helps.
A rebuild kit for the master should fix your problems sounds like a pressure drop from a bad seal, same goes for the guy who got the fluid on himself :P should fix you right up and its a REALY easy fix. Hope that helps.

You mentioned that after it sat for a couple of days when you have the starting issue. That might indicate a fuel pressure leak somewhere in the line if that happens you can loose the prime on the system and it can be a pain to get the air out and get things running again. I've had it happen...
