I have all the pieces to a Hack n Tap minus a front driveshaft that I could let go for cheap. I have the flange and also Spicer part #211229x. Let me know.
Personally, I think you answered your own question. The only "right" way to do it is to go ahead and do the SYE. You'll be much happier in the long run. Chances are that you'll want to go higher someday, so you're going to have to do it anyway. I'd say to spend the money now and get it done...
I have a 2000 XJ with RE 5.5" coils up front, 3.5" springs out back with TnT 1.5" shackles. I have adjustable uppers and RE non-adjustable lowers. I also have a JKS trackbar.

I think everyone made a valid point that I agree with. I think you have to know what tools to buy and what tools to stay away from. I have a Snap-On ratchet that is my main ratchet and that's the reason I spent so much on it. I can count on it no matter what and that's important to me.

I took a trip with my buddy down to the Harbor Freight store in Brick, NJ to pick up a few things. I ended up getting a creeper for $10 and a few other odds and ends like a wire brush for my angle grinder.
Personally I feel that there are certain things where it just doesn't make sense to...
