RC & Fishing late aug./early sept????

Unless I've got some serious momentum going on the new build, I'll either be going to this or Fall Crawl, I think. Either way I'd just be tenting.

And just FYI, pending availability at the campground (which I don't see a problem with), Rocktoberfest is probably gonna be the last weekend in October.

....anybody else up for this? Carol and I probably wont be wheeling...I could use a nice relaxing weekend just hanging out. Should be a good time, and I suspect the weather and leaves are going to be great around that time.

I'm at least trying to come up and fish for a day...possibly stay over but it'll be a last minute thing if i decide to.

Cool! We're just going to fish and hike this time out. Should be a good time. This park has something for everyone, so I doubt anyone will be bored by it. Still cant believe such a big place went unnoticed for so long. I found out about it last rocktoberfest when i asked a guy working at twingrove if there was any good fishing locally. Good find.

Kids are in school... so fishing will be Saturday for us. Jeremy just got a new fishing pole and tackle box for his birthday, so he is ready to go!!! We may just be up for the day Saturday though. The Jeep is probably going to be in pieces for this, so quite possibly no wheeling for me.

Work's been hell lately. I'm doing a new job in Phila. Not a good spot, 3 people have been shot in the past 2 weeks within 3 blocks of where I'm at, including a cop walking home from work. I've never felt as unnerved driving home in the city as I do leaving here..Looking forward to relaxing on this trip very much, it will be great to see everyone!

I was telling my folks about this, and they asked if they can come too. So they are going to haul their camper up. I just reserved a cabin, and was able to find a campsite nearby for them to park their camper. My kids will be staying with my folks in the camper, and My wife and I have a cabin back in the circle with the rest of the gang. We are also talking about hauling up my dads boat too... we'll see. The party is growing...

oh wow! this is turning out to be a party! I think ill make a big batch of my world famous potato salad, that will keep and can share with everyone. I was just thinking maybe we should do a pot luck, so we all can have a little sit down, hang out, and be merry? :chef:

well my father is out. I guess he never checked with my mom and it turns out they have a wedding to attend that weekend.
