Thanks for the warm welcomes, they mean a lot; more than you know. Falling off the planet wasn’t my idea; I was more knocked off than fall. Three years, huh Grrrr? It has felt like at least five. Fact of the matter is that I was a little surprised to find my name was still in red; credit for that goes to the membership drives. I guess that’s what happens when you renew for 2 years every freaking year; I think I still have over a year to go yet.

Yes, Ethan is still in school, college now. And yes Avery, still eating soap but I think he’s been cutting down. He’s making progress as time goes by, though he’s having a tough time finding a major and a direction.

As for me I’m fortunate enough to still have the same seatbelt hanging, stuck in the snow, steering failure at midnight gal in my life. As much as she loves wheeling shotgun she has not pushed about the XJ. She’s a real trooper and a keeper!
It’s been a long tough battle that’s not over yet. I’m still under a Drs care and still getting help with some side effects. It is great to be back; I think it’s the right place at the right time for me. It is still a little scary and a bit out of my comfort zone. Though you couldn’t have known it, I’ve missed this place and especially my friends here. This is going to be a slow go for me for awhile; touch and go at times even; but I’m back. Thanks for the PMs and welcome back, they mean the world to me; it has been a black diamond in a golf cart getting here.

The XJ needs a good wash, I think larger breathers on the axles and move the ARB compressor up higher than it is under the rear seat. Fix the rim that I caught in JV so I have a spare; I think Centerline will change it out cheaper than having someone else try and bend the lip back. Last and certainly not least is replace the reversing switch on the winch; I tend to need it quite a bit.

That pretty much where I’m at for the moment; pushing myself and refusing to give up; and that has brought me here. You we all there for Ethan and I when we most needed it and I know you are still here. I’ll be popping in and out at first but it’s the next step for me.

Yeah... That was it. We did alot of work on that Jeep, and he kept it so clean.

Yeah, I haven’t ventured into that forum…yet; I have enough spinning around in my head for now. As a recovering Republican and definitely not a democrat; I suspect we’ll see Shit running against Crap in the end. Yup, I see double; no, maybe even triple (with a capital “T”) the fun ahead!

I’ve decided to go even more radical than that bunch; pretty much on the radical fringe now. I’m one of those fools that want the reinstatement of the constitution; by any means granted us by that very same constitution.

I don’t really play into the parties, either. I was raised republican, but there are views from all parties that I like, so I don’t see the point in button-holing myself into one of them; that’s how problems get created.
