I love this chick...

My mom said she will disown me if I vote for McCain....

Looks like I need a new home..

It was a good speech, will be quite interesting to see her get turned loose on biden in a debate. Bet he's going to get the best debating coaches lobbyist money can buy...

Very good speech. I loved the way she ripped Obama a new a-hole.
I can't wait for tomorrow.
Anybody see the Obama ad afterward comparing McCain to Bush? It looked like a Saturday Night Live sketch to me.
They better come up with something better than the same old BS to stand a chance.

Juliani's comedy skit was great, but Palin brought a tear of joy to my eye.........in contrast, during Palin's acceptance speech, it's rumored that Obama and Biden simultaneosly soiled themselves.

No wonder the Progressive Press has been trying to find a way to discredit her......they're scared, because she ain't! I like the way she curls her lip when she gets fired up, she's a scrapper.

I can hardly wait until the head to head debates begin.......

I missed her speech, I was at our monthly local Jeep club meeting drinking beer and telling stories. :)

Nice to hear it went well.

I love this quote:

"Here’s how I look at the choice Americans face in this election. In politics, there are some candidates who use change to promote their careers. And then there are those, like John McCain, who use their careers to promote change."

See my signature....... one of my favorite quotes from her speech.

I particularity love these lines

about the Alaska Governor's private jet...she put it on eBay

the Governor's private chef. L'edOL

The pit bull lipstick comment hit home with the Hockey Mom in my house.

The best one of the night was: "Here's a little news flash for all those reporters and commentators: I'm not going to Washington to seek their good opinion. I'm going to Washington to serve the people of this country," myway

Great speach. I'm kind of wondering about the "bridge to no-where" comment, though. I thought the line on using the words "war" and "victory" were great. Maybe Oboma should try running for office in France.

As in you aren't sure what she was talking about? If so, it was a $398 million dollar cost to taxpayers to build a bridge from Ketchikan (Pop. 8,900) to Gravina Island (Pop. 50) where the airstrip is. Basically a congressman and senator got $200 million earmarked from congress, specifically for this bridge, with little to no debate. Alaska did end up receiving the money from Congress. However it was not used on the bridge, and Palin told them to find a more "fiscally responsible” solution to the problem.

I would agree if she was with anyone other than John McCain, thats the only problem they have.

This is a very good point, but look a little deeper. McStain just gave the GOP reformers are huge boost, and conservatives have been united for the first time in a LONG time. Decades. Beyond the presidency of a 70-something old codger (who is a true US hero, right up to his political career) the reformers of the GOP have been legitimized.

Rather than the same old centrist 'republicans' who tout the party line but slide to socialism slower than the Democrats, we have a resurgence of REAL conservative values, finally being recognized by the GOP. McCain might not be a conservative, but he just gave the conservatives of the GOP a candidate who could unite them over the next several elections. Also, think of the Supreme Court nominations. Even McCain is better than Obama there. And those are a bigger issue than most people consider.
