Second thought, (cheaper) make sure its pugged in. Its down by the oil filter, and is easily damaged during an oil change, at least with my fat hands!!
#1 cause of this is a faulty oil pressure sending unit. As mentioned, verify and clean connector.
If that checks out, spring for a new sending unit. I highly recommend purchasing this sending unit directly from Jeep for best reliability/accuracy/mating with your factory gauge. Aftermarket stuff is kind of hit and miss.
